OREGON
In September I took a trip with relatives to visit the Northeastern Oregon mountains as part of a remembrance of my nephew’s life. Here are some pictures from that trip.
Northeastern Oregon, between Pendleton, La Grande and Enterprise, a trip of memory (edit/delete)
I took a trip this weekend with my sister, brother-in-law and nephew. We visited the Blue Mountains of Oregon. They are located in the northeastern part of the state. All together, in this area, are the Blues, Wallowas and the Elkhorns. It is a very mountainous part of the state.

- Family remembrance
The reason we made this trip was to commemorate the life of my other nephew, Terry. Terry died of cancer 18 years ago at the tender age of 32. Terry was the strong, adventurous one of the family. He was a chief petty officer in the US Navy and did everything from scuba diving off of Guam, to helping in the filming of Red October. He is missed terribly. The areas we visited are where his ashes were scattered.

So, life goes on. We miss him but he is where he loved to be, the mountains of northeastern Oregon.
