First Time Home Buyer Seminars Scheduled
As part of the Alpine Million Dollar Stimulus Challenge, the first three First Time Home Buyer (FTHB) seminars have been scheduled to give prospective borrowers a chance to find out the programs that are available to help them with the process of finding and closing escrow on a home prior to the November 30, 2009 cutoff for the FTHB Tax Credit. Unfortunately, the program is currently set to expire at midnight on November 30 and that means that any purchases to qualify for the program must be closed and funded prior to that time limit. The Recession is Over!!!! Oh, Yeah???
Now, don’t get me wrong, I want the recession to be over. I want housing values to start to rise again. I want to see more and more people back to work. However, saying the recession is over, doesn’t make it true. Home values have not started ticking up in most places around the country. Unemployment rates have not magically started going lower.
