Good Faith Estimate on January 1, 2010
Interestingly, the Good Faith Estimate, a backbone of the mortgage industry, will be changing on January 1, 2010 with some very major changes, designed to help consumers compare loans from one lender to another. Very major changes but unfortunately, we still don’t know what all of them are or how they are being interpreted because HUD hasn’t released the final information yet. Crater Lake National Park, Oregon’s only national park, is offering ranger-guided snowshoe walks to explore the winter wonderland around the park, according to their December Newsletter. To make it even better, the snowshoes are provided and entrance is free. Oregon is a state of many areas, from our mountains (check out my heading) to the ocean, to valleys rich with produce to high desert where even the jack rabbits carry a canteen and a bail of hay.
