First Time Home Buyer Key People – Part 7
Almost done? You have been to closing and signed all of the papers with the escrow officer. Your Realtor® and Mortgage Advisor were probably both there to walk though the final steps with you. As a First Time Home Buyer you probably thought the process was extremely long and involved. The escrow officer gives you a list of the power company, cable company, garbage service, water and sewer so you are already to go, right?
Well, maybe. If you have a truck or a pickup, you might be able to make the move by yourself. You might have a lot of relatives and friends and you can get them to help you. As a matter of fact, I moved so many times the first 10 years of my marriage, my friends wouldn’t answer the phone when I was moving. So, you might want to hire a professional mover.
The amount of involvement a professional mover can have varies greatly depending on what you want. You can hire them to do it all, pack, load, unload and unpack or you can use their services from a variety of options.
Even if you have chosen to have maximum involvement of the movers, you should always personally oversee and escort your most fragile, valuable and treasured belongs. That way you know what is happening with them.
First Rate professional movers will be attentive to your direction, will work efficiently in an organized fashion and have the utmost care for your property. They will also have adequate insurance coverage, protecting your possessions in the event of a mishap.
