Internet servers and E-mail, friend, foe or fiend?
OK, I will admit it, Abe Lincoln and I learned how to write using slate boards and chalk. However, old as I am, I have tried to keep up with technology in my profession and have been using the online processing and underwriting systems since they came out. However, today I have come up against a challenge. That challenge has to do with a power outage that has shut down our corporate servers and left me to fend for myself as far as working on a new loan application.
Thankfully, we have loan applications that can (gasp) be filled out with a pen and I still know how to use a hand held calculator to work out payments, annual percentage rate (APR) and closing costs. Who would believe that we would be forced to use something as archaic as a ball point pen? LOL
Well, that is my tribulation for today. I can only hope that this is short lived and we aren’t facing a new “Dark Age” where computers are not a part of daily life. If you need assistance with any loan information, even if I have to do it by hand, give me a call, 541-342-7576/541-221-3455 or e-mail me. That e-mail is still working, currently. Have a great day!

Pass, that is why I have made my contract with you. I don’t do code. That is why I belong to PREP, so you can.
