First Time Home Buyer Seminars Scheduled
As part of the Alpine Million Dollar Stimulus Challenge, the first three First Time Home Buyer (FTHB) seminars have been scheduled to give prospective borrowers a chance to find out the programs that are available to help them with the process of finding and closing escrow on a home prior to the November 30, 2009 cutoff for the FTHB Tax Credit. Unfortunately, the program is currently set to expire at midnight on November 30 and that means that any purchases to qualify for the program must be closed and funded prior to that time limit.
The first two seminars for FTHBs are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 10 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriot located at 3443 Hutton Street in Springfield. There should be ample parking.
The third seminar is being held at Springfield City Hall starting at 12;30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 12. Parking is also available on site.
